Privacy Policy

What we collect when you buy and use SecondBars, what we do not collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have.

Effective October 6, 2026 · Truelabel Inc

1. Who we are and what this covers

SecondBars is a service of Truelabel Inc (“SecondBars,” “we,” “us” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website, buy SecondBars, install the eSIM and use the service, and what we do with it. Truelabel Inc is the business responsible for that information.

SecondBars is offered to adults who live in the United States. It works together with our Terms of Service.

2. The short version

  • We collect what we need to sell you the service, deliver an eSIM, bill you and support you.
  • We see how much data your SecondBars line uses. We do not look at what you do online.
  • We have no access to your carrier account, or to the calls and texts on your carrier’s line.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, and opt out of marketing.

The rest of this policy gives the detail.

3. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
  • Your service address, which we need to provide service and to work out the taxes and fees that apply.
  • Account details: your login, and the password or sign-in method you choose.
  • Order details: the package you chose, and your current carrier if you tell us.
  • Payment details. Card payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive a token, the card type and the last four digits, not your full card number.
  • Anything you send us when you contact support.

Information from providing the service

  • eSIM and line details: the eSIM identifier (ICCID), the line’s technical identifiers, the number assigned to the line, and whether the line is active.
  • Usage: how much data your SecondBars line uses and when, measured against your allowance, and, where the network reports it, the country it was used in. This is what your dashboard shows you.
  • Device details: your phone’s make and model, where the network or your browser reports it.
  • Billing records: what you were charged, taxes collected, and payment status.

Information from our website and dashboard

  • Your IP address and an approximate location derived from it (city or region). We use this to show coverage that is relevant to where you are, to apply the right consent settings, and to prevent fraud.
  • Browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, and how you arrived at our site.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, described in “Cookies and analytics.”

Information from others

We receive limited information from companies that help us run the service, such as payment status from our payment processor, line and usage records from the network operator, and fraud signals from fraud-prevention providers.

4. What we do not collect

  • The content of what you do online. We do not inspect or keep the websites you visit, the apps you use or the content of your internet traffic. The network operator carries that traffic in order to deliver it.
  • Anything from your carrier. We have no access to your carrier account, your carrier’s line, or the calls and texts on it.
  • Your precise location. We do not track your phone’s GPS location. The network knows which towers and country your line is using, as any mobile network does.
  • Your full payment card number.

5. How we use information

  • To provide the service: create your account, issue and activate your eSIM, and show you your usage.
  • To bill you: charge your plan, calculate and remit taxes and fees, and handle failed payments.
  • To support you: answer questions and fix problems.
  • To send service messages: order confirmations, eSIM instructions, renewal and billing notices, and notices of changes to the service or to these terms. These are not marketing and you cannot opt out of them while you are a customer.
  • To apply fair-use and usage limits described in our Terms.
  • To keep the service safe: detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security incidents.
  • To improve the service, using aggregated or de-identified information where we can.
  • To market SecondBars to you, where the law allows or you have agreed. You can opt out at any time. See “Your choices.”
  • To comply with the law and to enforce our Terms.

6. Information about your use of the network

Information about your service, such as how much data your line uses and its technical configuration, is sensitive, and we treat it that way. We use it to provide and bill for the service, to protect against fraud and abuse, and to answer your requests. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to market unrelated products to you without your permission.

To the extent federal rules on Customer Proprietary Network Information apply to information we hold about your service, we follow them. Before we discuss account details or make account changes, we confirm that we are dealing with you.

7. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We also do not share it with other companies for their own advertising. Advertising measurement on our own website is described in “Cookies and analytics,” along with how to turn it off.

We share information only as follows:

Companies that work for us

They may use your information only to provide services to us, under written agreements. The categories are:

  • The wireless network operator and connectivity platform that provide the eSIM and carry your data.
  • Payment processors and tax-calculation providers.
  • Cloud hosting, database and authentication providers.
  • Email and customer-communication providers.
  • Analytics, diagnostics and session-replay providers.
  • Fraud-prevention and chargeback-management providers.
  • Professional advisors such as lawyers, accountants and auditors.

Legal requests and protection

We may disclose information in response to valid legal process such as a subpoena, court order or warrant, and where we believe in good faith that it is needed to protect someone’s safety, to prevent fraud, or to protect our rights. Where the law allows, we will tell you before we respond to a demand for your information.

Business changes

If Truelabel Inc is involved in a merger, acquisition, sale of assets or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as part of it. We will tell you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

With your direction

We share information when you ask us to or agree to it.

8. Cookies and analytics

Our website and dashboard use cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your order as you move through checkout. Others are optional and load only as your consent settings allow:

  • Product analytics (Mixpanel) and site diagnostics (Firebase Analytics, Vercel Analytics), to understand how the site is used and to find problems.
  • Session replay, which records how pages are used so we can fix usability problems. It does not capture passwords or payment details.
  • Advertising measurement (Meta Pixel), to measure whether our ads lead to orders.
  • Customer-communication tools (Customer.io, ActiveCampaign), to send and measure email.
  • Fraud and chargeback prevention (Chargeblast).

Where the law requires it, we ask before any of these load and they stay blocked until you choose. You can change your choice at any time on our Privacy Choices page, and through your browser settings and your device’s tracking controls. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection of optional cookies. Blocking optional cookies does not stop you from buying or using SecondBars.

9. Your choices

  • Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or email support@secondbars.com. You will still receive service messages.
  • Cookies: change your choice on the Privacy Choices page.
  • Your account: you can see your usage, change your payment method and cancel your plan in your dashboard.
  • Closing your account: cancel your plan, then ask us to delete your account from the dashboard or by emailing support@secondbars.com.

10. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of these rights over your personal information. We extend them to all customers where we reasonably can.

  • Know what we collect, where it comes from, why we use it and who we share it with.
  • Get a copy of it.
  • Correct it if it is wrong.
  • Delete it, subject to legal exceptions such as records we must keep for tax and billing.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. We do not sell personal information.
  • Limit the use of sensitive personal information to what is needed to provide the service.
  • Appeal a decision we make about your request.
  • Not be treated differently for using these rights.

To make a request, email support@secondbars.com from the email address on your account, or use our contact page. We will confirm that the request comes from you before acting on it, and we respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent; we will ask for proof of their authority.

California

California residents have the rights above under the CCPA and CPRA. In the last 12 months we have collected the categories of information described in “Information we collect” for the purposes described in “How we use information,” and disclosed them to the categories of service providers listed in “How we share information.” We have not sold personal information. California residents may also ask about disclosures for third parties’ direct marketing under Civil Code § 1798.83; we do not make such disclosures. You may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency at cppa.ca.gov.

Other states

Residents of other states with consumer privacy laws, including Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia, have similar rights, which vary by state. If we decline your request you can appeal by replying to our decision, and if the appeal is denied you can contact your state attorney general. Nevada residents may ask us not to sell certain information; we do not sell it.

Outside the United States

SecondBars is sold to US residents only, including Global packages, which are for US residents traveling abroad. We do not knowingly offer it to people living in the European Union or United Kingdom. If you believe we hold your information and you live there, contact us and we will delete it.

11. How long we keep information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy or as the law requires:

  • Account information: while your account is open and for 90 days after it is closed, unless the law requires longer.
  • Usage and line records: up to 18 months.
  • Analytics and diagnostic logs: up to 12 months in a form that identifies you, then aggregated or deleted.
  • Payment and tax records: as required by tax and financial law, typically 7 years.

When we no longer need information and are not required to keep it, we delete, anonymize or aggregate it.

12. Security

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls and identity checks before account changes. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

13. Children

SecondBars is for adults. You must be at least 18 (19 in Alabama and Nebraska; 21 in Mississippi) to have an account. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact support@secondbars.com and we will delete it.

14. Where information is processed

We process information in the United States. Some of our service providers may process limited information in other countries, and if you use a Global package abroad, the networks you connect to there process the technical information needed to carry your data.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. If a change is material, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. The effective date at the top shows the current version, and earlier versions are available on request.
